Wisconsin got extremely lucky this year with the weather in terms of satellite imagery but if you lived in Wisconsin this past February you know that it was one of the coldest months in recorded history for the state. Shown on the poster are two images, one of Wisconsin shown in the visible spectrum and the other using infrared information. By using infrared data we can bring out different features within an image. The most noticeable change is that now clouds stick out much better so it is easier to tell what is snow and what is a cloud.
